7 Enemies of Faith the Devil Hopes You Never Discover

There is a reason some believers pray and nothing moves. There is a reason faith that worked last year feels distant today. There is a reason you know the Word — you can quote it, teach it, defend it — and yet something in you still shrinks back when the moment of truth arrives.

The enemies of faith are rarely dramatic. They don’t announce themselves. They work quietly — through what you believe about yourself, through old identities you never fully shed, through fear dressed up as wisdom, and through a nagging sense that maybe God’s promises are for someone else.

In this seven-part series, we go straight to the Word and name these enemies one by one. Not to create fear — but to create freedom. Because the enemy you can name is the enemy you can defeat.

The 7 Enemies of Faith — Watch the Full Series

Each short in this series is drawn from the same revelation that has transformed my understanding of faith — and my results. I encourage you to watch them in order, let each one settle, and bring the Word to every area where the enemy has built a stronghold.

Video 1: You Are a New Creation — The Enemy of Faith Exposed

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:17

The number one reason most believers struggle with faith is that they still see themselves through the lens of who they were before Christ. But the moment you received Jesus, something radical happened — you did not improve. You were recreated. This short unpacks what it means to be a new creation and why seeing yourself correctly is the foundation of all genuine faith.

Video 2: Your Place in Christ — Seated Above Every Enemy

“He raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

— Ephesians 2:6

Most believers are still fighting battles that have already been won. The enemy wants you on the ground, anxious and striving. But God has already seated you in heavenly places — far above principalities, powers, and every name that is named. Understanding your positional reality in Christ changes everything about how you approach the enemies of your faith.

Video 3: Righteousness by Faith — Stop Feeling Disqualified

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:21

Guilt and condemnation are perhaps the most effective faith-killers the enemy uses. When you feel unworthy, you stop expecting God to move. But righteousness was never about your performance — it was always the gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ. This short dismantles the lie of disqualification once and for all.

Video 4: The Name of Jesus — Your Most Powerful Weapon

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.”

— Philippians 2:9-11

Believers often treat the name of Jesus as a polite closing to prayer. But the early church used it as a weapon — and the enemy trembled. The name of Jesus carries the full legal authority of heaven. When you speak it in faith, something moves in the spiritual realm. This short teaches you what you already have, and how to use it.

Video 5: Acting on the Word — Faith Without Works Is Dead

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

— James 2:17

Faith is not passive. The moment you believe, something should move — in your words, your decisions, your posture before God. James is not contradicting Paul. He is showing us that genuine faith always produces corresponding action. This short is a clarion call to stop merely agreeing with the Word and start acting on what you claim to believe.

Video 6: The Power of Confession — What You Say Shapes What You See

“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

— Romans 10:10

Words are not just sounds — they are spiritual containers. The same mouth that believes unto righteousness can curse the very harvest you are believing God for. Scripture is clear: what you confess consistently becomes the atmosphere of your life. This short is a reset for your daily confession — bringing it into alignment with what the Word says about you.

Video 7: Overcoming Fear — The Faith Killer God Already Defeated

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

— 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is not just an emotion — it is a spirit. And where fear rules, faith cannot operate. But the good news is that God has already dealt with fear at the cross. You were not given a spirit of fear — you were given power, love, and a sound mind. This final short in the series shows you how to enforce what Christ has already accomplished and live free from fear’s grip.

Your Faith Is Not Broken — It Is Hindered

Every hindrance named in this series has already been legally defeated at the cross. The work is done. What remains is for you to enforce that victory — through the Word, through confession, through action, and through a revelation of who you are in Christ Jesus.
